Our Story

GREAT INSTRUMENTS AT GREAT PRICES, ALL WHILE HELPING OUR COMMUNITY

Strings for Tomorrow is dedicated to providing violins, violas and cellos to those who would love to learn to play them. But instruments such as these can be expensive to buy. Even schools that would typically offer students access to instruments in music classes are now strapped for cash. Sadly, music programs are often the first to have their budgets cut.

Strings for Tomorrow operates in a way that’s designed to provide instruments at reasonable prices to those who can afford to buy them—and to provide free instruments to the many who can’t.

SELL THREE, GIVE ONE AWAY

We import quality instruments from Germany and other European countries, as well as China, and work with you personally to identify and purchase the instrument that is right for you. In addition, for every three instruments we sell, Strings for Tomorrow will give at least one instrument to a deserving school or community organization.

HOW WE DO IT

Strings for Tomorrow reduces overhead and operating costs to a minimum, and puts the savings into philanthropy. Rather than maintaining a shop, we take individual appointments to show instruments. Rather than doing a lot of advertising, we will rely primarily on word of mouth to spread the word about our instruments.
